"Chosen" might be better than "selected", as the UI ask the user to "Choose contacts" when posting a story

Putting the variable in an oblique case is not advisable since it will look bad in languages where grammar requires changing the name accordingly. It's best to keep name variables in nominative case whenever possible.

Absolutely true, all main romance languages translated it with this wrong meaning.
Now this string is understood like "Only few of contacts selected by X can see the story". So, a little number of an already restricted number of user.
The creator and who will watching the story will ask themselves why some of selected users can't see it. And they will think about a privacy setting fault.
